Costing
Open price bookInvoice Scanner
Snap a photo of a supplier invoice. We read the line items so you can drop them straight into your price book.
1. Photograph the invoice
Lay it flat in good light and fill the frame. The reading happens on your device, nothing is uploaded anywhere.
What it reads
Item names, quantities, units, and prices from typical broadline and specialty distributor invoices.
What it skips
Subtotals, tax, freight, and delivery fees are left out. Only priced line items are offered for saving.
Price tracking
Saving an item you already have updates its price and keeps the history, so the price book flags what went up.
How to use this in your kitchen
- 1After a delivery, photograph a clear page of the supplier invoice (good light, flat page, no glare) and tap to upload it here.
- 2Run the scan, wait for the line items to appear, then fix any wrong names, pack sizes, units, or prices before saving.
- 3Uncheck freight, tax, or junk rows. Enter or confirm the supplier name so price history stays tied to the right vendor.
- 4Tap Save checked items to price book. Open the price book next to confirm the new costs landed.
- 5Done is today's invoice lines sitting in the price book with correct pack price and unit. That feed is what keeps recipe costing honest.
